A Thousand Li of Riversand Mountains, Wang Ximeng, 960-1127

This painting is the only surviving work from Wang, who died at 23. Though almost 12 meters in length, the painting is prized for its finely wrought details as well as its sweeping grandeur.

5. Abstractions

In this process, we are free to explore different ways to represent the painting by using different materials, forms, space, and color.

6. Residential Rug Design

This rug pattern comes from The Leaves Painting. What is interesting is that each leaf has its direction with different speed and they are intertwined with each other. The difficulty is to distinguish them in just six colors. Additionally, each leaf has different shape and size.

This pattern comes from The Pouring Art. I especially like the fluidity of these colors. This rug design mainly emphasizes the concept of ‘Blue and Green landscape' of the original painting, So I used more areas of blue and green. At the same time, irregular graphics make the whole picture look more vivid.

Spatial Application

These two patterns give a very peaceful feeling and make people relax. Very suitable for people who are very busy in modern city.
